In Partnership with

The GGV NextGen Fellowship is a summer internship program designed for undergraduate students to gain exposure to high-growth technology companies.

We’re particularly focused on hiring people from underrepresented backgrounds and bringing together a diverse cohort of students and future founders.

GGV NextGen Fellows are paired with a GGV-funded company, which creates internships in software engineering, finance, sales, and more. Fellows also receive access to a world-class learning and development curriculum that focuses on entrepreneurship, design thinking, and getting comfortable with failure as a way to grow.

Learn how we selected previous classes, including tips on what makes a candidate stand out, best advice from previous fellows, and more.

If you're interested in experiencing a high-growth startup firsthand, learning from our expert speaker panel, and building a community of like-minded future leaders, please apply for our 2024 Fellowship.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until March 31, 2024.

FAQs

What will I be doing?

As a GGV NextGen Fellow, you'll be part of a select cohort. Fellows will intern at a GGV-funded company working on projects defined by the company. You'll also have access to specific GGV NextGen Fellow programming spanning learning and development courses, community events, and networking opportunities.

How does the selection process work?

1. GGV's internal recruiting team will review all submitted applications.

2.  Applications will be submitted to our partner companies.

3. Our partner companies will then review profiles and GGV will introduce candidates directly to our portfolio companies for interviews.

4. If an offer is made, the terms of compensation and start and end dates will be negotiated directly between the student and the company.

5. Upon acceptance of an offer with a GGV portfolio company, the student will become a GGV NextGen Fellow and will be invited to participate in all program activities.

What are the dates of the program?

The internship duration will be determined by the company that you ultimately work for, but the GGV NextGen Fellow programming will begin in June and end in August 2022.

Will GGV NextGen Fellows be compensated?

Yes. Fellows will be compensated by the companies directly. Compensation will be competitive but may vary slightly based on function and company.

Where will I be working?

Your work location will be determined and communicated by the portfolio company, but NextGen Fellow events and workshops will be conducted virtually.

Am I eligible?

The GGV NextGen Fellowship is open to all undergraduates with a special focus on those from underrepresented backgrounds.

I've already been hired as an Intern at a GGV Portfolio Company, am I eligible?
